System Enhancements
What's New (overview): The new 1.0.12 release updates classification standards for the 2210 series, revises the Factor 6 and Factor 7 scoring model, and adds support access to the login screen.
- 2210 Series – Updated Classification Standard: The Information Technology Management (2210) series will use the 2026 Competency-Based OPM Classification Standard for AI content generation in Factor Levels, ensuring generated content reflects the most current governing standard.
- Factor 6 & Factor 7 – Scoring Model Update: The scoring model for Factors 6 and 7 has been updated to use independent point values. This change reflects the direction of the new OPM standards and affects how factor level points are displayed and totaled toward the final GS grade determination.
- Get Help on Login Screen: The Get Help link will be available on the login screen, giving users access to the Zendesk support form before they authenticate.
- Pending Account Approval Message: The message shown to users whose account is awaiting admin approval will be updated for clarity.
- Release Notes in Footer: The release version displayed in the footer (visible on both the login screen and within the app) will be a clickable link to the USA Class release notes page in the Knowledge Center. A "New" indicator will appear adjacent to the version text when a recent release has been published and clears once you have engaged with the link.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
-
Access Issue: “Account Not Found” for initial POC/Admin accounts
Details: Caused by a Microsoft Entra ID mismatch
Solution: Request a new account using your invite link, then ask another Agency Admin to approve your new account or submit a trouble ticket so our developers can approve your new account.
-
Access Issue: USA Class cannot be reached (IP address error)
Details: User IP address is not yet on the “accepted” list
Solution: Please submit a help desk ticket; our developers will need to coordinate with your agency’s IT to whitelist each other’s IP addresses for access.
-
Access Issue: “Account Not Found” for non-POC/Admin users
Details: New users must request USA Class accounts using your office-specific invite link and be approved prior to use
Resolution: Share the invitation link, then have them request an account. Once their request is reviewed and approved by one of the agency’s Admins, new users will be able to log in and begin using USA Class.
Recommended communication:

Tips & Tricks
- USA Class Help Desk tickets: When you submit a trouble ticket, you’ll need to verify your email address. The email you receive from Zendesk asking for email verification is legitimate.
- Communications: Because notifications are not yet built into the MVP release, please check the system frequently for new user/PD requests and develop a communications plan.
- Office Builds: If you need to request additional offices for your agency, please reach out to your USA Staffing Account Manager or contact us at usaclass@opm.gov.
