The PD Builder Overview page is where you to input introductory information to complete the PD build.
To access the position details page, select Request, select PD Builder, then select Introduction.
The following elements are displayed:
- Introduction. This required field allows you to input any introductory information for this PD. Note: This content typically includes (1) the organizational location of the position, (2) the mission or functional statement for the organizational unit where the position resides, and (3) the primary purpose of the position which represents a summary of the position and is directly related to the actual duties performed.

Add Introduction Note. This allows you to select information about level of this position that will show on the final PD. The options include:
- Full Performance. This selection adds the statement: This the full performance level of this position.

Developmental. This selection adds a statement this position is developmental
- Full Performance Grade. This drop-down allows you to choose the Full Performance Grade.
- None. This selection does not add a statement.
- Other Significant Facts. This optional section allows you to input any pertinent information for this PD.
- Back. This allows you to go to the previous screen.
- Continue. This allows you to continue to the next step in the process.
